Cristina Morgan

From corporate buzz to mindful bliss

Cristina Morgan didn’t always live the grounded, intentional life she lives today. For over a decade she was in the fast-paced corporate world, managing international communications for a leading tech firm in London. Her days were filled with deadlines, red-eye flights and constant digital connectivity. But despite her outward success, Cristina felt increasingly disconnected from her body, breath and purpose. The shift came unexpectedly. After a burnout that left her bedridden for weeks, Cristina realized she needed more than a holiday – she needed a transformation. What started as a search for stress relief led her to her first yoga class and soon after to a path of holistic living that would change every aspect of her life.

Yoga, Ayurveda and the feminine cycle

As Cristina’s yoga journey deepened she felt a strong calling to understand the body’s natural rhythms especially those tied to the feminine cycle. Frustrated by years of painful periods and dismissive medical advice she turned to Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, for answers. Through this exploration Cristina discovered practical, natural tools that helped her have pain-free periods for the first time in her adult life. Today Cristina combines her knowledge of yoga, nutrition and Ayurveda to help other women reconnect with their cyclical wisdom. Her writing on YOGI TIMES is about empowering women to live in their bodies and rhythms with grace, self-care and holistic tools.

A global citizen with a local heart

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Cristina has lived and worked in five countries including the UK, India, Thailand and Portugal. This international experience has enriched her approach to wellness allowing her to weave together global healing traditions with modern lifestyle needs. She currently lives in Lisbon where she teaches restorative yoga and seasonal living workshops and consults privately with women who want to rebalance their hormones and lifestyle through gentle, non-invasive methods.

Writing as a form of healing and service

Cristina’s articles are known for their gentle tone, research-backed suggestions and personal honesty. Her most read piece “How I Achieved a Pain-Free Period Using Ayurveda” resonated with readers worldwide especially those tired of quick fixes and synthetic solutions.Outside of YOGI TIMES she has written for Elephant Journal and MindBodyGreen. She is working on her first book Cyclical Wisdom: A Woman’s Guide to Holistic Balance due 2026.

What inspires her

Cristina believes true wellness is not about being perfect but about being present. Whether she’s teaching a yoga class, researching for an article or sipping herbal tea while journaling she brings full awareness to everything she does. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help people slow down, listen to their bodies and reclaim their peace – one breath, one moment, one cycle at a time.
